POS Camera Integration

$49.00 / month per store

ADD ON PLAN THAT ALLOWS YOU TO CREATE PROFILES TO SAVE ENTIRE EVENTS TO VIDEO. FOR EXAMPLE, A TRANSACTION FROM BEFORE CUSTOMER ENTERS STORE, TILL AFTER LEAVES, OR WHEN EMPLOYEE OPENS CASH DRAWER OR COUNTS DRAWER OR MANY OTHERS WITHOUT ANY SEARCHING THROUGH DVR.

POS Camera & Transaction Video

Connect your existing supported camera systems to Datasync RMS and turn ordinary DVR footage into searchable, transaction-linked video.

There is no additional Datasync RMS charge per camera and no additional charge per camera system. Multiple supported camera systems can be connected, and you decide which cameras from each system should record each type of POS event.

Use the Cameras You Already Have

Datasync RMS works with supported camera systems you already own. You choose the camera systems, the cameras within those systems, and which camera angles should be associated with each event.

Want one angle for a transaction and four angles for a drawer count? You can do that. Want different cameras for refunds, age verification, or manual drawer openings? You control that too.

Event-Based Recording

Camera recordings can be tied directly to supported POS events such as:

  • Transactions
  • Age verification events
  • Refunds and returns
  • Manual cash drawer openings
  • Cash drawer counts
  • Counted drawer events
  • Other supported POS and security events

For each event type, you control which cameras record, how many camera angles are captured, how much video is included before and after the event, and how long recordings are retained before automatic deletion.

No More Searching Through Hours of DVR Footage

Traditional DVR systems usually make you search by date and time, then manually hunt through footage to find the transaction or event you actually care about.

Datasync RMS links the video directly to the POS event.

Imagine a customer calls and says, "I was there yesterday or the day before sometime between 2:00 and 5:00."

Instead of spending twenty minutes searching the DVR, guessing at timestamps, and then trying to locate another camera angle, simply search the date in Datasync RMS, locate the transaction, and click the camera angle you want to view.

Real-Time Event Downloads

Event clips are downloaded as the events occur, so in normal operation the video is often ready to view by the time you need it.

You can review clips directly from the POS application and, when cloud video access is enabled, from the Datasync RMS online portal.

View the Same Evidence From Multiple Locations

A OneDrive account is required if you want recorded clips available through the online portal or accessible from other authorized computers within your organization.

This allows owners and managers to review the same event footage without having to physically sit in front of the DVR at the store where the event occurred.

Keep, Save, and Extend Important Clips

When an event matters, you are not limited to the original automatic clip.

  • Save a clip to another location.
  • Mark important video so it is not automatically deleted.
  • Extend the clip to view additional time before or after the original event.
  • Switch between the different camera angles assigned to the event.

Investigate Problems in Minutes

If a cash drawer comes up short, locate the drawer count or opening event and review whichever camera angle gives you the best view.

If a customer disputes a transaction, locate the sale and immediately review the associated footage instead of searching an entire day's recording.

If an age-restricted sale needs to be reviewed, open the related event and view the camera angles configured for that workflow.

See What the POS Operator Actually Did

Datasync RMS can also record the POS operator's screen during supported events.

That means you are not limited to watching the employee from a ceiling-mounted camera. You can also see what was happening on the POS screen itself — what was rung up, what buttons were pressed, and how the transaction was handled.

A traditional DVR cannot provide that view because it only sees what the physical cameras see. Datasync RMS combines the physical camera footage with the POS activity so you can review both sides of the event.

You Control the System

There are no Datasync RMS per-camera fees and no per-system fees for the camera upgrade. Configure the supported systems and camera angles that make sense for your business.

You control the cameras, event types, recording duration, retention period, and which footage deserves to be preserved.

The goal is simple: when something happens at the register, you should be able to find the transaction, click the angle you want, and see what happened — without digging through a DVR.

REWARDS AND LOYALITY PROGRAM BASE

$60.00 / month per store

REWARDS SYSTEM ADD ON OPTION

View Upgrade Details

Customer Loyalty & Rewards

Give customers a reason to keep coming back without turning your loyalty program into a pile of free products, missing inventory, and manual adjustments.

Datasync RMS uses a flexible points-based discount system. Customers earn points through qualifying purchases, and as their point balance grows, they become eligible for better discounts.

Reward Loyalty Without Giving Away Inventory

Many rewards programs are built around redeeming points for free products. That can make inventory harder to track, complicate reporting, and leave employees trying to account for merchandise that walked out the door at no charge.

Datasync RMS takes a different approach. Rewards are applied as controlled discounts during normal sales, so the merchandise still goes through the POS as part of an actual transaction.

You reward the customer while preserving the normal sales and inventory trail.

You Control the Reward Curve

The program is designed to be flexible enough for you to decide how generous — or conservative — your rewards should be.

  • Choose the point level where discounts begin.
  • Choose the starting discount percentage.
  • Set the point level required to reach your maximum discount.
  • Choose the maximum discount percentage.
  • Discounts can increase progressively between your starting and maximum reward levels.
  • Allow points to never expire or set an expiration period to encourage customers to return.

For example, you could begin rewarding a customer at 250 points with a 5% discount and gradually increase that discount until the customer reaches 2,000 points and a maximum 20% reward level.

Control Which Products Participate

Not every product or category has to participate in the same way.

You can exclude selected product categories from receiving reward discounts while still choosing whether purchases from those categories earn points.

This gives you much more control over low-margin, regulated, promotional, or other products where a normal loyalty discount may not make sense.

Automatic Customer Enrollment

A loyalty signup QR code can be printed on customer receipts, giving customers an easy way to enroll without slowing down the checkout line.

Once enrolled, their reward activity becomes part of their customer history inside Datasync RMS.

Built Into the Sale

Employees do not need to manually calculate reward percentages or determine where a customer falls between reward levels.

Datasync RMS uses the loyalty settings you define to determine the customer's applicable reward during the transaction.

The sale, discount, customer activity, and inventory movement remain connected to the normal POS transaction instead of being handled as a separate giveaway process.

See Whether Your Rewards Program Is Actually Working

A loyalty program should do more than make customers happy — you should be able to determine whether it is helping your business.

Datasync RMS includes loyalty reporting designed to help you evaluate participation, customer behavior, and the financial effect of your rewards program.

  • Customer retention overview
  • Rewards member versus non-member comparisons
  • Discount impact reporting
  • Loyalty signup performance by employee

These reports give you information you can use to evaluate whether members are returning, how their purchasing behavior compares with other customers, and what your loyalty discounts are actually costing the business.

One Program Across Your Stores

Loyalty settings are managed at the business level so your stores can operate under a consistent rewards program instead of maintaining separate rules at every register.

Reward Repeat Business — Without Losing Control

The goal is simple: encourage customers to return and progress toward better pricing while keeping the rewards program measurable, configurable, and tied directly to your normal sales and inventory records.

HEMP COMPLIANCE LABEL PRINTER

$100.00 / month

Allows our POS to print hemp compliant labels at time of sale.

View Upgrade Details

Automated Hemp & THC Product Labels

Create detailed 4 × 6 thermal labels for hemp and THC products, then let Datasync RMS automatically generate them at the point of sale.

Product and regulatory information is configured when the item is entered into inventory. Once configured, the label becomes part of the normal sales process instead of something employees have to recreate for every transaction.

Build the Label Once

Configure the information associated with the product, including supported manufacturer, product, weight, laboratory, regulatory, warning, and custom information.

  • Product name, strain, type, format, and cannabinoid information
  • Manufacturer and address information
  • Quantity, weight, and unit information
  • Batch and expiration information
  • Laboratory report QR code
  • UPC QR code
  • Supported state or regulatory warning symbols
  • Required warning and disclaimer text
  • Custom product information
  • Category-specific disclaimer information

Automatic at the Time of Sale

After the product has been configured in inventory, Datasync RMS automatically prepares the product label when the item is sold.

The employee completes the sale, weighs the product as required, prints the 4 × 6 thermal label, and attaches it to the appropriate child-resistant package or bag.

There is no need to manually rebuild the label for every customer. The product information already stored in Datasync RMS is used to create the label as part of the normal checkout workflow.

Designed to Help With Compliance

The labeling system is designed to help merchants organize and present product, laboratory, warning, and regulatory information in a consistent format.

Datasync RMS does not guarantee that a label, product, package, sale, or business practice complies with any federal, state, county, municipal, or other regulatory requirement.

Hemp, THC, cannabinoid, packaging, labeling, testing, age-restriction, and disclosure requirements may vary by jurisdiction and may change over time.

The merchant is solely responsible for determining which laws and regulations apply to their products and business, entering accurate information, selecting the appropriate warnings and symbols, using compliant packaging, and verifying that the final printed label satisfies all applicable requirements.

Datasync RMS is a software tool intended to assist the merchant with that process; it is not a substitute for legal, regulatory, or compliance advice.

Simple Workflow

  1. Enter the hemp or THC product into inventory.
  2. Configure the product's label, laboratory, warning, and regulatory information.
  3. Sell the product normally through the POS.
  4. Weigh the product when applicable.
  5. Print the automatically generated 4 × 6 thermal label.
  6. Attach the label to the appropriate child-resistant package.

Set it up once in inventory, and Datasync RMS handles the label generation when the product is sold.
